Pattern Availability
As a small, women-owned business, we curate our inventory intentionally. Our goal is not to be a big brand, instead we want to meet the needs of the women who genuinely love our product. While we aim to offer a well-stocked array of colors and patterns in sizes small to 3X, inventory fluctuations and limited overstock may mean not all patterns are available in all the sizes we offer. Restocking is not guaranteed, so it's recommended to get your favorite patterns while they are available.
Washing Instructions
Our pajamas are 100% cotton! Please keep that in mind while laundering. It is recommended to wash them in cold water, line dry if possible, or tumble dry on low heat. Light pressing can provide a crisper look, and please avoid using bleach. Wash, Wear, Repeat --Fabric softens with each wash.
Color Disclaimer
We do our best to ensure that our photos are as true to color as possible. However, due to inconsistencies of various monitors, lighting sources, digital photography and dye lot variations, we cannot guarantee that the color you see on your screen accurately portrays the true color of the product. Screen images are intended as a guide only and should not be regarded as absolutely correct.
On-line Inventory
While our intent is to always have inventory up-to-date online, sometimes computers make mistakes and inventory may be sold at our markets while you are checking out online. We make every effort to prevent such occurrences.
Sizing Chart
Our handmade pajamas may have slight variations in sizing. If in doubt, it is recommended to choose a size larger. This is especially true if you have a larger bust. Instead of focusing on labels, prioritize your comfort and consider going for a roomier fit. European clothing tends to fit a bit smaller then their corresponding American size. Also, if you typically wear different sizes for tops and bottoms, it's advised to select the larger of the two sizes.
Hand screen printing is an ancient and evolved technique that creates vibrant images on cotton fabric. After mounting the fabric on the frame and placing the stencil, the ink is spread. The operation has to be repeated several times if working with multiple colors. In this case, the fabric must dry completely between one color and the next. Mastering hand screen printing requires a high level of skill and expertise.
The word “pyjama” has its origin: pae jama which translated as garment for the legs and dates back to the Ottoman Empire of the 13th century. Pajamas were adopted by Europeans during the British India Colonial Rule and only in the households of nobility or the rich. It wasn’t until the 1800s that people of all classes began wearing them.
